STOP ICE FLIGHTS FROM HANSCOM FIELD
Stop Massport from Violating the Massachusetts Constitution
Over 2,000 residents have been removed from our state through charter flights from Hanscom Field. Asylum seekers, holders of valid work permits, spouses of US Citizens, all have been deported without due process rights under our State Constitution, and in some cases have been taken out of state by ICE in a deliberate attempt to curtail their rights to appear before a judge to post bond or file a petition of habeas corpus.

Letter to the Select Board
In September the flag on the Battle Green was lowered for Charlie Kirk, in response to a presidential order. Because there is no legal obligation for flags flown on municipally owned property to follow federal or state half-staff orders, we believe this moment calls for reflection on how Lexington responds to future such orders. The Battle Green is not just another parcel of municipal land; it is a national memorial, and the flag there resonates with history. But its unifying symbolism diminishes when used as a display of what many in our community experience as a partisan gesture.
