Logan Airport, Tuesday November 24
Why Logan? Why Massport?
Since January of this year our best estimates are that ICE has flown more than 5000 people in chains and shackles out of Hanscom, in secret, assisted by Massport and the Massachusetts Police.
This level of cooperation with ICE is now prohibited by State Agencies due to the Massachusetts Protect Act. Specifically, the Act allows Massport to designate private areas of their property where ICE cannot operate, which are areas where badges or special access is needed, such as the tarmac. Under this law, Massport could require ICE to use public terminals at its airports, including Hanscom, Logan, and Worcester.
Massport also receives emails from the State Police about every ICE Flight. They have consistently denied this, claiming they have no responsibility for ICE operations.
We will be demonstrating at Logan under a Massport permit that allows a limited number of people at specific locations. Our demand is that Massport stop enabling Human Trafficking. We demand they enforce the Protect Act, designate private areas off limits to ICE, and require public transparency for all ICE boarding and deplaning operations occurring on state property.

We have applied for a permit for five doors, with 10 people per door, broken up into three 2 hour shifts in the grid below. This grid is for Tuesday, Nov. 24th. As we get signups, we may introduce additional days. Pick a door and a time that you are willing to lead a team, or join a team that has been created already.
